Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

These Terms govern your use of CoApprove ("CoApprove", "we", "us"), a feedback and collaboration hub. By creating an account, connecting a site, or submitting feedback through a connected site, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

CoApprove lets a connected project ("Site") collect feedback, problem reports, votes, and comments from its users, and lets that project's team triage them. Sites are grouped under an account managed by an account administrator.

2. Accounts and sites

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including: submitting unlawful, infringing, or malicious content; spamming or overloading the service; attempting to breach security, access other accounts' data, or reverse-engineer the service; or using it to collect data without a lawful basis.

4. Community participation and rules

Some Sites enable a community — a public board where a Site's members can post ideas and problems, comment and reply, upvote, and react, and where each member has a public profile (handle, generated avatar, bio, and karma). These rules apply to everyone who takes part in a community, in addition to the acceptable-use rules above.

5. Your content and your users' data

You retain ownership of the content and data submitted through your Sites. You grant us the limited rights needed to store, process, and display it to provide the service. You are responsible for having a lawful basis and any required notices or consents to send end-user data (including the technical context attached to reports) to CoApprove.

6. Availability and warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Fees

Some features are offered on a paid basis and may be enabled per account. Pricing and billing terms will be provided separately; feature availability may change.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access — including a community member's ability to participate — for breach of these Terms or to protect the service or its users.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoApprove is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service.

10. Changes

We may update the service and these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above; continued use constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where CoApprove is operated. The governing jurisdiction will be specified as the service formalizes.
